To avoid the water loss of Glade® and get better adherence to the wall, 1 kg Izole Lak Pure Acrylic Primer should be mixed with 5 lt of water and must be applied to the wall by using brush or paint roller until the surface is saturated. Plastic Putty must be applied for slight imperfections and Rustik Putty must be applied for subtler imperfections.
Glade is applied as three coats. First coat of Glade® is applied all over the surface by using scraper or trowel.
After drying completely, second coat is applied. Second layer is applied by circular motion through the sides moving from outside
towards inside. After the surface dries, the third layer should be applied with a spatula in a patch
pattern. Immediately following the application, and before the
product is dry, the polishing process must be started with the
help of a trowel. Application must be made with care without
applying too much pressure on the surface. If too much
pressure is applied on the surface, it will appear as a
scratched surface.
For the application of Glade®, the surface must be stable and solid. So if it is applied in a new construction, four weeks are needed for the hardening of the cement. The temperature must be between 5oC and 35oC degrees. The surface becomes dry in 3 hours under the temperature of 20oC and 65% humidity conditons. It takes 24 hours to be dry completely and resistant to impacts.
